This day has been filled with awesome things.
1. A big box appeared on my doorstep containing something very exciting.
2. Went on a field trip to the library with a preschool class.
3. Made these irresistible, self-control defeating cookies. Peanut butter, oatmeal, chocolate chips. I don't think I need to say any more. Recipe to follow soon.
4. Received a big yellow envelope containing a rousing game of Scrabble.
My ingenious twin sister came up with a way for us to play our favorite game together, even though we live 4 hours apart.
Welcome to the world of Traveling Scrabble.
Haley, I will make my move and send it back to you asap.

Very fun day for sure. I love scrabble. And those cookies look divine.

Summer,

I've been eating up your blog all evening. Your photos are lovely, and I'm definitely going to try a few of your recipes.

Can you give me a quick idea of how to play long-distance Scrabble? I have a girlfriend in CA who would loooooove this.

Thanks!

about this blog

Hello, I'm Summer. A people-loving introvert whose hope and life is in Jesus. His promises are my passion and my ministry is homelife. This blog is a place for me to write about everyday things. Especially food. My favorite thing to do is sit around a table, lingering over a long meal with good conversation. I live with my husband and our 2 littles. We like blizzards, thrifting, grammar, guacamole, cheerful hearts, nice manners, good movies, and making simple, real, nutrient-dense food.
