we're on day three of being 'snowed in,' which translates to day three of no school, and has nothing at all to do with staying in the house. this morning grant was out clearing a path for the mail man, then he was off to the hardware store and i to the gym. who cares if highway 59 is still closed? we're getting along just fine in our 4 block radius of town. and we're even more convinced that this was the best year ever to buy a snowblower. at one point grant entertained thoughts of roughing it through one winter, just him and the shovel. whew. so glad that thought was fleeting and thankful for a black friday sale on winter equipment. the snowblower is our new best pal.
and here's my other new fling, fresh from the christmas haul.. you don't know jacques! by o.p.i. courtesy of my stylish twin sis. c'est tres chic. thanks, haley! as i'm sure you all know, a nail session is only natural during this many snowdays. this shade of polish almost matches the walls of my living room, which i find totally fitting because i'm hung up on this color right now. somewhere between slate grey and chocolate milk. rather elegant and mysterious, i think. what shade are you wearing these days?

there is something so wonderful about painting your nails on a snowy day... i did mine this morning as well, and decided to go with the red. Yes~! Enjoy your nails! :)
I cant keep polish on my nails... it chips SO fast - but I keep my toes painted year-round. Right now they are bright pink. Love your color!
Ditto on the toenails...I can't stand not having them painted....but sadly, I can't keep my fingernails looking nice and thus I hardly ever paint them anymore...Maybe it's the reality of having two kids and constantly washing dishes:)
I think I have the same polish.
love the polish color. i've been sporting a holiday red on my toes but haven't painted my fingernails, lately. i should. i love trying new colors and i love the feeling
p.s. i meant to say i love the feeling of having my finger nails painted! i accidentally sent before i was done typing!
Would you believe that I HATE having nail polish on my fingernails (toe nails are an entirely different story, though). I try, believe me, I do. I like the shiny, elegant look of painted nails, but about fifteen minutes after I get the nail polish on, my nails start hurting and screaming for a breath of fresh air. Weird, I know. Yours look nice, though. : )
beauties...am not brave enough to dive into the deep dark shades these days. am happy to sit back and admire yours. :)
oooohhh - I love that color! I usually stick to a sheer pink on my nails - I may have to give this color a try.
Oooh, I'll have to try that one. I love dark polish in the winter. My favorite is OPI's "oh to be 25 again". It's dark with a tad bit of brown/red. And I too am obsessed with the charcoal-grey-brown this year. It's so pretty with a punch of color against it. Grass green, rasberry red, spice orange. Ahhhh...
i'm wearing bright pink, to remind me that spring is on the horizon! (winter is sooo not my season) :)
