i am so ready for halloween. as you know, we moved last year. to the best trick-or-treating street in town! seriously, it's famous for it. i can't wait to see how many treaters we get this year. only a few more days! our candy has been bought. our entryway will be done (hopefully). and our pumpkins will be carved. will yours?

i love this classic jack-o-lantern! thank you for the tutorial, i'm hopping over now to see your tips. my husband and i were just discussing this very activity over bowls of oatmeal. happy halloween!

p.s. how fun to live on trick or treat street. so very charming.

Very cool!! I have a pumpkin all ready to be carved,but haven't done anything yet and I need to!

Handing out candy is a great opportunity to stick tracts in there too!!

Awesome! I'm definitely going to do some carving this year - though we don't really have that many trick or treaters.

A friend of mine just made some gorgeous snacks with the seeds too - she boiled them in salt water for ten minutes, (she suggested 1tbsp salt per 1 cup of water, probably need 4 cups of water for 1/2 a cup of seeds), let them dry overnight and then pop in a low oven for thirty minutes.

Think I'm going to try it - maybe with some red chilli/garlic salt like the put on the edamame at Wagamamas! They were honestly delicious.
