Guys, just wanted to pop in and share something that is currently all the rage at our house.

We're loving our moses basket so much. It's such a cozy spot for Casper. We've been using it throughout the day and at night. But here's what is making it even better: we started putting a heating pad in the basket a few minutes beforehand and then turning it off or taking it out when we lay him down. It makes the transition from mommy's warm arms to his bed so much easier.

What kind of baby tricks do you guys have up your sleeves?

I also use the warming trick before putting my daughter in her Moses basket - the midwife suggested it when she was a few days old and it works a treat! Another tip is to download a white noise app - most babies love white noise and mine is no exception! I often put my phone in the Moses basket with her, with the white noise app running and it calms her down every time. But the best calming trick I have found is to carry my baby in a sling wrap : )

Hello, I'm Summer. A people-loving introvert whose hope and life is in Jesus. His promises are my passion and my ministry is homelife. This blog is a place for me to write about everyday things. Especially food. My favorite thing to do is sit around a table, lingering over a long meal with good conversation. I live with my husband and our 2 littles. We like blizzards, thrifting, grammar, guacamole, cheerful hearts, nice manners, good movies, and making simple, real, nutrient-dense food.
