i love, love, love painterly. the makeup wonder. when i decided that i wanted to do my own makeup for my wedding last year, i made a trip to the mac counter and had an amazing girl named lindsay show me how to get the look i wanted. she introduced me to their "paint pots," which are used as a base for your eye makeup. if you're like me, your eyeliner/shadow blends and fades (or disappears!) within a few hours of putting it on. smear some painterly on before your regular eye makeup and it sets everything. you will never have to re-apply throughout the day.
