Being married is lovely.
One year ago today, my wonderful husband proposed to me. The night of our engagement, he gave me a bouquet of the most exquisite white roses I have ever seen.
Here is one of the roses today.
Here's two more.
I have them displayed in my living room because I love the aged antique cream color they have now, even as much as the brilliant white.

Those are just beautiful. Happy one year ago. That must be a night to never forget. And I am glad to see you hadn't. Love how you keep the roses. It says so much about your relationship.

being married IS lovely ....it's really the best. I couldn't have imagined how much I would have enjoyed it ...but I guess it depends on who you're married too. Beautiful post.

about this blog

Hello, I'm Summer. A people-loving introvert whose hope and life is in Jesus. His promises are my passion and my ministry is homelife. This blog is a place for me to write about everyday things. Especially food. My favorite thing to do is sit around a table, lingering over a long meal with good conversation. I live with my husband and our 2 littles. We like blizzards, thrifting, grammar, guacamole, cheerful hearts, nice manners, good movies, and making simple, real, nutrient-dense food.
