..was spent visiting grant's grandpa's grave, finding sunny flowers, making our new tradition for dinner, and curling up to watch my favorite hitchcock.
not pictured: grant writing a paper, me cleaning bathrooms, enjoying being home together, and grant falling asleep during the movie. (his signature move.)

Summer,

I love the picture of the flowers! ALSO, thanks for sharing what was NOT pictured. I find that those "boring," everyday things are often the most precious!!!

LOVE your blog!

You two are the cutest. Glad you had some down time. It sounds like the American dream of a memorial day. :)

Thanks for posting grandpa's grave site. I love seeing his name. Makes me happy and sad at the same time. And thanks for posting a lovely pic of the two love birds. Too cute.

about this blog

Hello, I'm Summer. A people-loving introvert whose hope and life is in Jesus. His promises are my passion and my ministry is homelife. This blog is a place for me to write about everyday things. Especially food. My favorite thing to do is sit around a table, lingering over a long meal with good conversation. I live with my husband and our 2 littles. We like blizzards, thrifting, grammar, guacamole, cheerful hearts, nice manners, good movies, and making simple, real, nutrient-dense food.

"If Christ be anything, He must be everything."
-C.H. Spurgeon
