so i found these two vintage scarves. together they were 40 cents! amazing. i wish i could take you all to my thrift store. (okay, it's not really mine, but the owner does know me and expects me regularly.) you can't see it, but the pink one even has some light blue diamonds in the pattern. it feels very grace kelly. i am loving them. they really help dress up the $6 v-necks i stocked up on at target. i love target's simple shirts. and their sunglasses. and the starbucks inside the store. and the surplus of cute sandals this summer.
what do you love about target?

Yeah, Target's hard to resist. I love their clearance racks.

I have a local thrift store I go to each Tuesday and must watch for scarves like those. Love the find you made!

What a brilliant find! All of the wonderful things you find at your thrift shop conjures up amazing images in my mind of what it must be like.

I have never been to Target because it doesn't exist in England, so sadly, I cannot share in the Target-love!

Oh, I miss Target.
I guess I've been there at least once or twice a week while I lived in the US. I love everything about it. I always go there when I am visiting my "family" in the states.

I love the Target maternity line (Liz Lange Maternity), the baby section (Target baby stuff tends to be cuter than Walmart baby stuff) and the stationery section. : ) Random and a little weird, I know, but it's true! I've gotten CUTE thank you cards there! The thing I do NOT like about Target is that the closest one is two hours away from us!

Your scarves are very cute, by the way. Yesterday I scored four vintage embroidery hoops and a T-rex for Little Man for $1 here at our thrift store. I <3 thrifting even more than target. I have the feeling that if we ever met in person, we'd have so much fun shopping together! : )

Wow! 40 cents!? That's awesome! What a steal!

I love shopping at Target too. I could spend hours moseying the aisles of snacks, kitchen-ware, house decor, clothing, shoes, cards, you name it!

Oh Target. I MISS Target! But we have AMAZING thrift stores everywhere in Scotland so I can cope. By the way, thanks heaps for the title! Something shows up now in the feed :-) And your pics are fine in iGoogle reader anyway. ::Becky

@ Bekcy: you're so welcome! i had no idea it was doing that, so thanks for telling me. what rss feed do you use?

@ those of you who live far away from target: i'm totally with you! it's such a treat to be able to go.

Hi Summer, I subscribe to feeds within Firefox and in your list of recent posts it was blank until fairly recently when it started giving this (and appropriate variation thereof) summerharms.blogspot.com/2010/06/what-we-made-at-camp-today.html for each new one. I also use iGoogle and it shows the latest three for each feed widget you have on your home page. On yours it is always blank unless the post has a title. If you click and expand, however, you see the pic and text as it should be. I'd been meaning to mention it; hope this helps!

wow! what a great deal on those scarves! you lucky dog you! I love going to thrift stores and scoring a great find. And Target, I love it as well. I love their holiday stuff, it is so original...especially the stuff they put on the end caps in the bath section, like all the cute holiday bath towels and bath mats, and the great tea towels and placemats for the kitchen!

If I'm having a stressful day, I use Target as therapy. Just walking along and seeing all the pretty things can't help but put me in a better mood! (don't worry, I try to leave my purse in the car so it doesn't become retail therapy!)

i could survive off of target alone. love that store!
