something i haven't been able to get my head around since day one. how did she fit?
this was taken a couple weeks ago when we were hanging out at camp. she's 7 weeks old. flip that girl upside down and she is back where she came from! all curled up of course. i can hardly picture it, though. it's not like all of my organs emptied out so that she could grow. it's incredible how that works!

Hehe...I've been wondering the same thing since my baby girl arrived two-and-a-half weeks ago. It's surreal to think of that baby FITTING!
And yes, I love the striped socks. Baby socks just might be my favorite item of baby clothing.
One of my favorite pictures is one that my friend took. She laid down on a bed, took a picture of her with her pregnant belly (clothed and all that, of course). A week later, after her son was born, she took another picture in the same pose, but this time with her baby curled up where he would have been a week before. So astonishing!
I'd like to do that someday.

I'm so glad that you are back to posting as I have been missing you all summer! Hadley is just the most adorable baby. :) So long and lean. Seems like those baby socks would be better than the short ones that they like to pull off.
