hoping to fit loads of california greatness into our little week on the west coast. going to the lake where grant learned how to waterski, hiking some trails in yosemite, perhaps making a trek to the beach, and definitely hitting my favorite place on earth. the land of disney. truly the dreamiest spot ever. ice cream parlors and manicured lawns and air sweetened by disney soundtracks streaming out of hidden speakers. the peter pan flight and space mountain and soarin'. fountains and fast passes and feeling like i'm eleven years old. it's all so magical. can't wait to be back in the happiest place.
also hoping for an in-n-out burger.
and maybe something sweet @ pinkberry

OMG. How I miss In-n-Out Burger. I could totally go for a cheeseburger fries and strawberry shake right now. Good thing the closest one is at least 1200 miles away!

yes! happiest place on earth! i'm wearing my tinkerbell hoodie right now... although i let my annual pass expire for the summer due to the crowds and never-ending rows of baby strollers that dominate the park during this season. i'll be back in the fall. ;)

How fun that you mention in-n-out because my cousin was in from LA and was telling me about it. She said she's going to take me there when I come out there...whenever that is. Enjoy!

about this blog

Hello, I'm Summer. A people-loving introvert whose hope and life is in Jesus. His promises are my passion and my ministry is homelife. This blog is a place for me to write about everyday things. Especially food. My favorite thing to do is sit around a table, lingering over a long meal with good conversation. I live with my husband and our 2 littles. We like blizzards, thrifting, grammar, guacamole, cheerful hearts, nice manners, good movies, and making simple, real, nutrient-dense food.
