ta-da!
i'm blown away by how roomy it is in that fridge. there's even a drawer just for cheese and a gallon-of-milk sized compartment in the door. i've always wondered what it would feel like to store my milk in the door. it feels good. except when you accidentally grab the gallon of water that's also in the door and start pouring it on your cinnamon toast crunch. and i'm still amazed that i'm the one who gets to use these newfangled machines. me! wow. over thanksgiving, i was chatting with grandma & grandpa about what an extravagance it is to pick out your own appliances. some people will never get to experience this. i really do feel like one privileged girl. so many luxuries keep rolling in with this new house. (including our first water bill.)

that fridge is gorgeous! is it LG? that's what our TV is - love that brand. i wish i could start thinking of our water bill, or any bill, as a luxury. i'll work on that.

BEAUTIFUL APPLIANCES!!! Just be careful keeping your milk on the door... it spoils faster there because the door of the fridge is the warmest part of the fridge, generally speaking. But all that advise aside... DO ENJOY ALL THE WONDERFUL NEWNESS OF YOUR NEW HOME!

btw... I found your blog via Tesa Goossen. LOVE IT! And I'm Heidi Klaassen's cousin... isn't it a small world!

oh my oh my. good thing you are so sweet, otherwise i'd be green with envy. i am smiling and living vicariously. you deserve a kitchen as pretty as this. along with that darling tea towel. just in time for stocking the fridge for the holidays. oh wow. i can't get over the prettiness. congrats.

I am sure you have already discovered this trick, but I thought I would put my two cents in anyway. Buy Pledge. It makes and keeps stainless steel looking great! We discovered this after buying product after product. The perfect one was right under our noses!

Now you can cook up a storm with those appliances, whatever that means. They are so beautiful. It makes cooing and eating so much more fun! I know you will do them justice.

I meant to say cooking- not cooing!

about this blog

Hello, I'm Summer. A people-loving introvert whose hope and life is in Jesus. His promises are my passion and my ministry is homelife. This blog is a place for me to write about everyday things. Especially food. My favorite thing to do is sit around a table, lingering over a long meal with good conversation. I live with my husband and our 2 littles. We like blizzards, thrifting, grammar, guacamole, cheerful hearts, nice manners, good movies, and making simple, real, nutrient-dense food.
