we love smoothies. the simpler, the better.

go-to smoothies

4 ice cubes
1 orange
1 banana
5 strawberries
3 heaping spoonfuls strawberry yogurt

adapt as necessary for in-season fruit. we throw in blueberries|raspberries|peaches when we can.

for an even smoother smoothie, add a splash of milk.
for a thicker, more spoonable smoothie, add less ice.

Oh, smoothies are my fave. They are also perfect for fighting those terrible cravings for unhealthy snacks.

yumm! we love smoothies too-i don't use oranges very often but i think i'll have to try! in response to your hair question on my blog...i usually just spiral curl it all over in the morning, use a little hairspray, and by the afternoon it's only waves : ) haha nothing fancy! by the way, how does it work to answer someone's question about your post? do you reply in the same set of comments, or reply like i'm doing to that person's blog? i need your expert opinion.

about this blog

Hello, I'm Summer. A people-loving introvert whose hope and life is in Jesus. His promises are my passion and my ministry is homelife. This blog is a place for me to write about everyday things. Especially food. My favorite thing to do is sit around a table, lingering over a long meal with good conversation. I live with my husband and our 2 littles. We like blizzards, thrifting, grammar, guacamole, cheerful hearts, nice manners, good movies, and making simple, real, nutrient-dense food.
