If they can make baby clothes like this, why aren't all baby clothes like this?

you know what i would love? some plain, basic shirts for upper toddlers/young kids (i'm saying 3-7 yrs old). i feel like i see skulls, skateboards, and blinged out stuff for my sweet ones. i just dream about sweet stuff for my kids to wear- like what you've posted!

Yes! I totally agree, Summer. How hard is it to just make simple and cute clothes for kids? And why is it that only the really expensive stores seem to get this?

I have no love for the applique-heavy kids' clothes, but I wish I could find more BRIGHT simple baby stuff. I'm not into the neutral-heavy look, especially for Ada.

The only place I've had luck with the colorful, simple, not-too-expensive combo is H&M. Unfortunately, they're not very wide-spread.

Time to dust off your sewing machine... :)

I wish the same thing...and for older kiddos too. The screen printed stuff is so tiring.

My husband and I were talking about this over the weekend. Why do they have cover kids clothes in wording, pictures an d over the top decoration - or charge more for clothes that they leave plain? I have been drooling over Baby Gaps clothes.

about this blog

Hello, I'm Summer. A people-loving introvert whose hope and life is in Jesus. His promises are my passion and my ministry is homelife. This blog is a place for me to write about everyday things. Especially food. My favorite thing to do is sit around a table, lingering over a long meal with good conversation. I live with my husband and our 2 littles. We like blizzards, thrifting, grammar, guacamole, cheerful hearts, nice manners, good movies, and making simple, real, nutrient-dense food.
