1. Raisins + chocolate chips during Hadley's nap. I need to add popcorn to this mix pronto.
2. This great album, again.
3. This yummmmmmy roast beef recipe.
4. This oldie, but a goodie. It's in the crock pot right now.
5. Piano shopping!
6. Making stacks. And then making the daily run to the post office and the gym.
7. Grabbing a candy bar at the grocery store. A guilty pleasure I haven't tried in years.
8. Having lots of farm eggs on hand. Such a luxury.

9. I think we've officially transitioned to the after-lunch nap. But I say that now and in 2 days it will be different. :) Everything's a phase!
10. Whitney's amazing diy calligraphy wall art!! with her favorite verse from the 50 Promises.

What good finds have you had this week?

Love those hymns by Jadon Lavik... so good!

And the calligraphy wall art is beautiful!

And the photo of your little girl sleeping is so sweet...

So funny! I have that exact same thing in my crockpot today! I was going through my recipe binder and came across it--I had printed it from your site ages ago--and thought, time to pull this one out again! Favorite discovery of late? Sliced avocado on top of my eggs. Not sure how it took me so long to figure that out!

Summer, would you do a post about how you take care of a baby, go to the gym, make healthy meals, keep your house clean, spend time with your husband and God, get reasonable amounts of sleep, and work on orders every day? My life is pretty simple, but I struggle to accomplish half those things (and my baby won't take a nap by himself so I can't get anything done then). I would LOVE your advice!

about this blog

Hello, I'm Summer. A people-loving introvert whose hope and life is in Jesus. His promises are my passion and my ministry is homelife. This blog is a place for me to write about everyday things. Especially food. My favorite thing to do is sit around a table, lingering over a long meal with good conversation. I live with my husband and our 2 littles. We like blizzards, thrifting, grammar, guacamole, cheerful hearts, nice manners, good movies, and making simple, real, nutrient-dense food.

"If Christ be anything, He must be everything."
-C.H. Spurgeon
